Pivot Point

Twenty-six years ago today I made a choice to become fully observant of Jewish/Torah Law.  I was 35.  My life before that point was one thing. Afterwards I became someone else.  One day I was that person. Next day I was this person.  Essentially, I remained the same. Fundamentally, everything changed. 

35 plus 26 = 61.  This is where I am now.

The current Presidential Election will be the eleventh in which I will vote. In these past campaigns, I was thoughtful and deliberate before I made my choice about whom to vote for. 

This year it is my intention to follow the travelers on the road to the White House as closely as I can, in my own way and style.  This WebLog will monitor and record my own thoughts and deliberations about how I decide where my vote will go.

Today, with the primary “over,” I am truly undecided as between Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain. My only sources of information about the Presidential Race are listed on the left. My birthday is January 19. The gift I will give myself by writing this journal will be to know how and why, as best I can, the man sworn-in on the next day got there from here.
